An Act of Changing the name of Jose J. Leido, Jr. Memorial National High School

The Jose J. Leido, Jr. Memorial National High School, or Lemnahis (short for Leido Memorial National High School), and formerly Oriental Mindoro High School, is the flagship campus and the largest Public High School in Oriental Mindoro. It was established in 1921 and is located in San Vicente East, Calapan City in Oriental Mindoro, Will now be called Oriental Mindoro National High School or OMNHS.
"I think a corrigendum for this law should be pass err the original name which is oriental mindoro high school 1921 original version instead of the 1986 omnhs new version? and with due respect to jjlmnhs /lemnahis graduates that is without the word national to be able for our alma mater to get access in the future as either a science or international highschool (public High Schools With International Student Programs). what is lacking in this law is public consultation before being enacted in the Fifteenth Congress. it was haphazardly crafted in order to gain political mileage. now the present school administration is in a quandary as to which name to follow as a result of such erroneous insertion of changing the name" -Mr. M.L. Help for our Mangyan Brothers

Join Trese Malaya on their outreach project "Saknungan Para sa mga Kapatid na Mangyan" to help the indigenous group of Mindoro called Mangyan. The soul purpose of this project is to help the children of Mangyan have a chance to attain proper education through our help. Remember, the first few years of children’s lives are the key to their intellectual, emotional and social development. Even though they are indigenous doesn't mean they are not deserving. Support them and share the thought.

RGV-Nico Valencia Exposed (RGV Political Scandal)

I was surfing the net when I saw this. It's about Congressman RGV and his family being a political dynasty. Are we supposed to believe this? Well corrupted or not I think every politicians have their own way of helping people and at the same time have their own way of being corrupt. I think we people should dissolve our mindset that politicians like RGV are a bunch of an otherwise uncaring individuals cause they already are. Politician is the new description of the word corrupted, they all are.

Well, obviously this RGV Scandal is what we call a political black propaganda. The real question is who threw the first stone? And why is it that this kind of things only spills during elections? If they are dead serious about this RGV Scandal thing, the people who made this, they should have done it a long time ago. It's too obvious that this RGV Scandal where just made to confuse people or to let them know the truth. People are not that stupid, you/we should be the judge of this. Does the Valencia family are really corrupted? But watching this RGV Scandal is sure to change the minds of the people.

Here's the Viral Video that is spreading on the net about RGV & Nico Valencia Family.

Kalap Fest or Kalap Festival

Kalap Festival is celebrated every March 21, it is the city's official festival. It was originally derived from the tagalog word Kalap means to gather, during the old times people gather woods to provide warmth and  to cook food. The term was then use as the name of the festival to show the culture and history of Calapan City. It was launched on 2009 and is still successfully being held every year. Participated by various sectors of Calapan's broad citizenry, the people walk the city streets moving as one. It is intended to be a yearly celebration packed with performances, colorful floats, and most significant of all, history. Along the main streets, floats detail the defining moments of the city's past, an insight into the City of Calapan of today.
